NC-Controlled line drilling machine for high capacity production

The Vantage 76 NC is a programmable 76 spindle drill for fast production of system line holes. Once initiated the Vantage will
automatically drill 1 to 4 lines of holes.

The machine has fast cycle times of approx. 12 sec. for 2 lines and approx. 20-27 sec. for 3 or 4 lines of through holes. After the boring unit moves to the program position the work piece can than be loaded and positioned against the rear fence and registered on either the left or right end stop. The work piece is clamped at the rear fence with six pneumatic hold down cylinders. The eight front clamps hold the work piece down at the drilling line as the aggregate cycles.

• Electronic controller with touchscreen LCD-display. Capacity for 99 programms, programmable for up to 4 lines of holes.
• The boring-unit is NC-controlled in Y-axis.

• Boring unit travels from 20 – 580 mm from the fixed backsided stopping ruler.
• 1 Stopping ruler with 2 end stops which are adjustable from 0 – 150 mm.
• 8 pneumatic clamping cylinders at the drilling line, 6 pneumatic workpiece holding cylinders at the fixed backsided stopping ruler, for workpiece thicknesses up to 40 mm.
• Hydraulic feed motion control for blind holes (hald bore) and through holes.
• Boring depth programmable through control from 0 – 35 mm
(by drillbit length TL 70 mm) for blind holes and through holes.
• Drilling from below, with the well known advantages.
