Hardware Insertion

The Express S2 is a fully automatic drilling and inserting machine for hinges hinge plates and other insertable hardware.

Features:

-A tilt forward magazine design facilitates the easy loading of hardware during the machine cycle.

The die and magazine are removable so that the machine can be setup to insert different hardware types.

The Express S2H is designed to insert hinges, hinge plates, hinges with plates attached, drawer adjusters and RTA fittings.

Cycle time for the Express is 4.5 seconds to drill for and insert two hinges.

Each head has a magnetic detector safety to prevent previously inserted parts from being inserted again thus ruining both the part and the machines tooling.

program selection switches The Express has a three hinge insertion program which cycles the heads on and off first inserting two hinges and than cycling one head off to insert the third hinge.

The left head on the Express S2 H is stationary and the right head opens and closes for different workpiece widths. The brake for the right head is released by pushing the green button on the handle on the right head. It will than move along linear bearings for an effortless setup.
