Pneumatic up and down movement of the drilling/inserting unit on double end guides by profile linear bearings and torsion bar stabilizer.
Central lifting cylinder optimally positioned near the supporting table.
Precision boring unit has 25 spindles with 32 mm pitch. Double end guides and linear bearings provide stability throughout the entire length of the boring unit.
The Inserting unit has 2 powerful cylinders with a full length stabilizer.
Dowel diameters and length control prevents insertion of oversized (+ 2mm) dowels.
Two gates, one at the front and one in back allow open access to the machine for maintenance.
High-speed chucks are standard.
Side fence spacing, boring and inserting depth and position-adjustment for the drilling height are all set with digital counters.
There are three positions for side fence setups for frequently used boring patterns.

Easy to use controls

The control panel for the Elite 25 and 50 is located on the right front of the machine. The eight green button switches at the top turn the inserters on and off. When activated inserters are illuminated . The two yellow button switches turn on the mirror image control and when lit indicate which side of the table to place the work piece. The switch at the right, just below the yellow button switch, is the program selector switch.The hopper feed and glue amount are also controlled at the control panel

Glue pumps have a brass body, carbide needle and stainless tip. Note the teflon ring just to the right of the glue pump. This allows the inserter unit to be easily adjusted along the steel indexing rod. The back of this inserter guide rod is notched at 32 mm increments to correspond to the 32 mm pitch of the drillhead.

table construxtion A picture taken during assembly shows the welded and milled one piece table. All accuracy components are attached to this table weldment. This includes the drilling and inserting aggregate. This type of construction guarantees the accuracy of the drilling and inserting motion.

Optional dual acting clamps can be installed so the machine can set up to face bore small parts.

The Elite has a closed glue system. This is the only way to keep contaminants out of the glue supply. The Elite uses compressed air to feed the glue to the insertion point. The glue nozzle shoots a concentrated stream of glue into the dowel hole. The pressure of the glue shot disperses it throughout the hole for maximum dowel adhesion.
