Interlocking Lamellar Case Clamp
This multi-purpose case clamp with interlocking vertical and horizontal pressure beams, is specially designed to save time and labor in medium and large
production plants. Clamping pressure is applied across the entire vertical
and horizontal beams for clamping of case goods, drawers, etc.
Simple operation by electronic controller with LCD display.
PRE-PRESSURE INPUT and MAIN pressure are electronically controlled.
Set clamping time with automatic opening / item counter / self- diagnostics.
Selectable program motion include manual vertical and horizontal clamping (V / H) and
automatic motion cycles for clamping VVH / VVVH / HHV / HHHV).(see video)
• Sturdy stress-free welded and assembled steel frame guarantees square
cabinet assembly.
• Top pressure beam with 7 machined steel bars (laminae).
• Side pressure beam with 6 machined steel bars (laminae).
• Counter-pressure (bottom/side) surfaces are 40 mm thick solid laminated working surface.
• Motorized adjustement of both pressure beams by precision trapezoidal-threaded
spindles (for optimal lead and concentricity accuracy) and heavy-duty machine
running nut with integral grease reservoir.
• Pressing of work pieces is by two separate helical geared motors (2x1,5 kW).
• Maximum pressing force is 3500 dN (kg) per pressure beam.
• The pressing force of the beams is digitally adjustable and regulated
by a frequency changer, resulting in an absolutely wear-free operation.
• Pressing velocity 25 mm/sec., adjustment rate 50 mm/sec., controlled by
automatic work piece recognition with sensors in the laminae pressure beams.

Horizontal beams are double laminated and
than milled with a slight convex bow for maximum clamping pressure over the entire clamping length.
The vertical and horizontal beams close until an electric eye on each beam sees the work piece, than close and contact the top and side together. This feature allows the clamp to
accomodate almost any type of case-goods
including cases with mitered corners.
At 3500kg per beam this clamp has enough pressure to clamp as many boxes as you can fit in the maximum opening.
